Several fund-supported films will be screened at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Sven Bresser's "Rietland", produced by Viking Film, tells the story of a reed cutter who finds the body of a murdered girl, causing unrest in his village. Sergei Loznitsa's "Two Prosecutors", with Dutch co-producer Atoms & Void, follows a young lawyer who is confronted with the corruption within the Soviet system. Kleber Mendonça Filho's "The Secret Agent", co-produced with Lemming Film, is set in a military dictatorial Brazil. Sandra Desmazières' "Water Girl", produced by Valk Producties, shows the life of Mia, a fisherman.
